About Me

Hello my name is Michelle Leavelle and I am beyond thrilled to be teaching your little scholars this year. I'm from a small town in Salem, Virginia. I moved to Greensboro in 2012. I started working with children my 11th grade year in our Early Childhood Education preschool.  So for over 17 years I have been working with children infancy to adolescence in Head Start programs to public school settings.  I received my undergraduate degree from Radford University and my Masters in Family and Community Services from Ashford University. When I am not teaching your littles, I am taking care of my two children; Denzell (15) and Mason (6).

First and foremost I want you to know that your children will be well cared for, by myself and our amazing co-teacher, (name). Our goal this year is for your scholars to know they are valued, heard, and respected. We want them to understand the importance of working collaboratively, using their creativity, and communicating effectively.

One of our classroom motto’s is that "Together We Can". Please always feel free to reach out to us if you ever have any questions or concerns. Together, we will do great things this year. I look forward to working with you as a team to help your little scholars meet their fullest potential!!
